Energy efficient windows and doors are a mandatory requirement, according to South African legislation. Our products are made using uPVC, a non-conductive material, that makes for the most energy efficient windows and doors available. In a nutshell; the more energy efficient your windows and doors are, the larger they can be while still complying with regulation.
Your windows can be bigger with Teva uPVC. Here’s why…
Legislation (SANS204/10400XA) demands that a building with more than 15% glazing coverage must have thermally efficient windows. That is, thermally efficient windows are required if the combined window size exceeds 15% of the building’s ‘footprint’ (ground-level floor area).
Because Teva’s windows have the highest thermal efficiency ratings, you can specify a much larger window area than you can with the equivalent aluminium framing.
