No South African dream home is complete without a welcoming braai area. Our weather and hospitality is legendary, whether it’s winter or summer. The owners of this gracious family homestead decided to put outdoor entertaining at the centre of their home.
The generous, L-shaped veranda borders the pool and is accessible from most of the ground floor rooms of the house. It features a braai and food preparation area including sink. The family can happily spend all of their time in this multi-functional space.
They wanted to create a flow from the indoor space to the entertainment area while still having the option to insulate their home against inclement weather. It was important to be able to shut the house up securely when not entertaining. They decided that a Teva stacking door would be the best solution.
