Teva Windows were pleased to co-sponsor the Winelands Built Environment Professionals’ end of year event yesterday. Partnership with this important industry body has already proven mutually beneficial in the few months since Teva opened a dedicated Winelands branch to meet growing demand in the area.
The event was co-hosted by Teva’s long-time colleagues and friends from Rehau along with a number of highly respected businesses who have been essential to the growth of the area.
‘We’ve always believed in effective partnerships that give us the power to effect change. Sustainability is key to the future of our industry and it’s important for us to have opportunities like this to meet with local industry stakeholders in a casual environment, to begin the conversations that will eventually change the face of construction in South Africa’ says Teva MD, Pieter Malherbe.
WBEP members were officially introduced to Pieter and his business development manager for the region, Gerhard Kriel at a WBEP presentation in October, where they learned of Teva’s commitment to green building and the energy efficient uPVC windows and doors that they are customizing to suit the diverse needs of Winelands property owners.
As Gerhard says, ‘It’s been great to see our WBEP colleagues again and meet some more of the people who keep the industry growing at every level. After such a busy year, it’s good to relax with people who have been facing the same challenges together. Next year is going to be very exciting. We’re looking forward to it.’
